Our Xmas cruise in the bay was a fantastic experience. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful, and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on board. Snorkeling and kayaking activities were included, and our guide shared lots of information about the history of the area. We also loved the delicious meals served on board, especially the fresh seafood dishes.
The communication from the tour company could have been better, as we were unsure about our pickup time at first. , the prices of drinks on board were quite high, and we felt like we were being charged for every little thing, such as towels and water bottles.

The view was breathtaking and the water was crystal clear. the boat ride was smooth and we were able to see many small islands along the way. the staff was courteous and ensured we had a comfortable stay. the food served on board was also of a high standard.
The overall experience felt rushed with very little time to relax and take in the scenery. the boat was overcrowded and we felt cramped during the meal times.

The boat we had wasn't the Margerite Junk, but the guarden 2 boat provided a nice experience. the tour guide, Cookie Monster, was adorable and kept us entertained. the staff was friendly and the food was great. Halong Bay itself was beautiful and the bay view from the boat was stunning.
The bus ride to/from Halong was uncomfortable and made a stop at a tourist trap rest stop, which felt exploitative.

We had a fantastic stay on a boat in Ha Long. The cleanliness of the boat was impressive, especially compared to some of the other boats in the bay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, giving us a pleasant stay throughout. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing great service throughout our trip. The food onboard was delicious and plentiful, ensuring that we never went hungry.
Almost perfect. Bit too crowded with other boats.
